Description:
"Joseph Dietz, 6331, Bundesrep, 1976"
Interesting violin by Joseph Dietz of West Germany in 1976. It is a personal model, consistent with other examples from the maker, that features tall arching, ivory nut and saddle, and a very interesting concept of a scroll. This instrument has a voice worth listening to, with a dry and dark low end, and a very sweet high end.
