A violin labeled "Duiffo Prugard", made in the style of the Vuillaume/Derazey Shop head violins. Made in Czechoslovakia circa 1880-1900.
One-piece maple back and ribs with broadly flamed maple, narrow grained two-piece spruce top, and maple neck. Neck has a bearded man carving and the back has an inlayed scene of a city.
